- Impulse transformer incorrectly dimensioned
Measure during initial startup
- Perform AUTOCAL.
- Check transformer specifications.

Explanation: UR signal incorrect
Possible cause: Secondary voltage U2 outside of permissible range of 0.4…120 VAC.
Fault Area 8:
Explanation: IR signal incorrect
Possible cause: Current I2 outside of permissible range of 30…500 A.
Fault Area 8:
Explanation: Turns incorrectly passed through current transformer
Possible cause: Check number of turns: Two or more turns required for currents < 30 A.
Measure during operation, HBAbbreviation HB not changed
Fault Area 4:
Explanation: Partial bypass (delta R)
Possible cause: Heating element partially bypassed by conducting part, e.g. clamp, opposite heat-sealing bar.
Fault Area 5:
Explanation: Parallel circuit interrupted
Possible cause:
- Wire break, heating element break.
- Contact to heating element is defective.
Fault Area 6:
Explanation: Total bypass
Possible cause:
- Heating element incorrectly installed, no insulation at heat-sealing bar ends or insulation incorrectly installed.
- Heating element completely bypassed by conducting part.
